POSSIBLE REASONS AND SOLUTIONS


YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED A REPLY TO YOUR ENQUIRY AFTER 24 HOURS

(1) A frequent error is to make mistakes when writing your e-mail address in the specific box of the enquiry form, which is the only one we can possibly use to reply to you. You are not writing from your e-mail program, but in a page of our site! IF you make this mistake, there is no possible way for us to write to you!
SOLUTION: If you think that you made this mistake, simply write again the enquiry form and submit it.

In all other cases there one or more of the reasons mentioned below could be the cause. The rationale is that we receive many enquiries, and our style is to reply in the most professional and informative way, for which we are renowned. This takes all our energy and time, it is a daunting work from early in the morning until late at night to serve you.
We only reply though if we see that there is even a slight possibility that we could help you. If you do not receive a reply within 24 hours it could mean that we were not able to help you at all for one of the following reasons:

(2) You have requested a rental period which is shorter than one week. Normally we rent minimum weekly *with reservation*, i.e. for rentals occuring in the future, while we possibly rent for periods shorter than one week with "last minute rentals" i.e. occuring in the present, or in the very near future. Yet sometimes we possibly rent for periods shorter than a week with reservations in the low season, or whenever we see in the future that it could be possible to match a period with that of others customers.
SOLUTION: you can write to us, and we will reply to you if there it will be possible proposing you some property. If we do not reply within 24 hours, it means that we cannot help you.

(3) You are enquiring about a rental period occuring too far in the future (more than 6-7 months). This is a difficulty in any case, yet, although this might seem strange to you, it is still possible for us to organize in such cases a rental in low / mid season, and not in high/very high season. This is because in high season (second part of February, March, April, May, June, second part of July, second part of September, October, first part of November and the major holidays including Thanksgiving) prices are higher, and the sheer fluctuation of currencies makes it next to impossible to anticipate a correct price. In mid season prices are lower, and therefore the fluctuation of prices is lower, and because hence the possibility of having consistent price fluctuations is lower, we could possibly process a reservation.
SOLUTION: You can possibly enquire, but if you have no reply within 24 hours it means that it was still not possible processing such an early reservation. In such cases, you can apply later, beginning from 4-5 months before the requested rental period.

(4) The budget you mention is too low considering the quality, size, and location of the property you require, or considering the number of your party.
SOLUTION: You can apply again indicating a higher and more adequate budget. Again, if after 24 hours we do not reply, it means that the problem was still not solved.

(5) You are requiring a "longer term" rental, i.e. between 1-3 months, with reasonable budget and occuring in the future, not in the present. You thus require a reservation. Such rentals are normally only feasible in the present, based on what is available, while they are not feasable if we or proprietors have to accept a reservation for a rent occuring some time in the future (the property would have to wait for you, it would be hard to find another tenant meanwhile, and this is not convenient).
SOLUTION: You can apply in such cases, but if you do not have a reply, the reason is that what you are asking is not feasible.

(6) We are completely booked up in the high season period you request.
SOLUTION: In these cases we normally reply in any case informing you about the situation. You can try to apply again.

(6) You have not indicated clearly your requirements, and /or you have filled in / written insufficient information in the enquiry form.
SOLUTION: write it again, supplying more accurate details in every box or space.

As mentioned, we reply normally within 2-24 hours. If you have problems with the enquiry form (although there should be no reason why), please write the same information to:

As you can see, the SOLUTION is trying to understand what might have gone wrong, and applying again after one day or two. If you do not receive from us a reply again after 24 hours, it means that we were not able to process your rental.
